Frank J. Mancuso, Jr
Work History
Mr. Mancuso formed the firm of Mancuso & Cameron, PC along with Douglas D. Cameron in October, 2009. Prior to forming the firm Mr. Mancuso worked for the Brighton law firm of McCririe & Cameron for 11 years. Mr. Mancuso earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration from Michigan State University in 1983. He then worked as a contract negotiator for a computer manufacturing/systems integration company and a software company attending law school in the evenings until receiving his Juris Doctor degree in 1995, with honors, from the Detroit College of Law (now Michigan State University College of Law). While at the Detroit College of Law, in addition to working at his full time job, Mr. Mancuso was the team manager for the Jessup International Moot Court Team, a member of the American Bar Association Client Counseling Team, and employed as a legal extern to the Honorable Robert C. Anderson in the Oakland County Circuit Court.
Licenses and Affiliations
Mr. Mancuso is admitted to practice before all Michigan Courts and the Eastern District of the United States District Court in Michigan. Mr. Mancuso is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and the Livingston County Bar Association. He is also a member of the Business Law, Elder Law and Disability Rights, Probate and Estate Planning, Public Corporation Law and Real Property Law sections of the State Bar of Michigan. Mr. Mancuso regularly serves as a Case Evaluator for the Livingston County Circuit Court and as a Judge for the Michigan State University College of Law Appellate Advocacy Competitions.
Family and Community
Mr. Mancuso lives with his wife and family in Commerce Township, Michigan. Mr. Mancuso is a member of the Livingston Business Referral Association and the Rotary Club of Brighton, Miichigan. Mr. Mancuso is a supporter of several local charities. He serves on the Advisory Board for the Community Foundation for Livingston County, and the Selection Committee for the Livingston County United Way. Mr. Mancuso states: "it's important to give back to the community that has been so good to me and our firm's employees."
Areas of Practice
Mr. Mancuso concentrates his practice in the areas of Municipal Law, Trusts, Wills and Estates, Business Law, Real Estate Law, Construction Law, Technology Law and Litigation. Mr. Mancuso also teaches the Michigan Concealed Pistol Training Course required for CPL Licensing.
